The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified when the software is upgraded. 4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and take care to clean everything that is mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've crafted. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like all Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always recognize smaller things such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot.
